The Disability Information & Equipment Centre began its operations as an Incorporated Society 1992. In 2008 it was registered with the Charities Commission as a Charitable Trust (Charity number: CC35939). Our Centre is also affiliated with the New Zealand Federation of Disability Information Centres.

We are a community service dedicated to serving the disability sector with accurate information and a wide variety of daily living aids.

You can contact us for a comprehensive Disability Support Service Directory. We are also assessors for the Total Mobility Scheme which provides eligible customers with half price taxi travel.
